Originally from the North of France, we decided to experience the “Family Camping” adventure for 15 years. First of all, we settled in Ardèche, now in Savoy and most recently in Hérault.

We are located exactly 7km from the city center of Chambéry, about 15 minutes by car. You can also get to Chambéry by the bike path that passes behind the campsite in 30 minutes.
We have all the basic shops a 5-minute walk from the campsite in the city center of Challes-les-Eaux. You will find a pharmacy, a butcher, a bakery, a bakery, the post office, a newsagent, a supermarket open 7/7, hairdressers, restaurants, all without taking your car. If you want larger supermarkets and other shops, the La Ravoire commercial area is 5 minutes away by car.
We do not have a swimming pool in the campsite but a body of water, where it is possible to swim, is located just behind the campsite a 5-minute walk away with a beautiful park around as well as a playground, tennis or basketball courts and a fenced park for dogs. Between 10 and 20 minutes by car, you can also go swimming at Lake Saint André or at the magnificent Lac du Bourget, the largest natural lake in France. Access by bike through greenways is also possible.
In July and August, we offer a snack bar in the campsite open every evening 7/7. During the day or off season, it is possible to eat at the various restaurants available a 5-minute walk away.
In July and August, we offer morning, afternoon and evening entertainment 7/7. The city of Challes-les-Eaux as well as Chambéry also organize many diverse and varied events. Do not hesitate to ask us!
Our 4* campsite is located in the heart of a region rich in its beautiful nature with the Bauges and Chartreuse mountains nearby where you can practice hiking, climbing, cycling, speleo, speleo, canyoning, horseback riding... There are many places to swim, including Lac du Bourget and Lac d'Aiguebelette. You can also enjoy various leisure areas such as the Walibi theme park, the Wam Park for aquatic activities, a tree-climbing park in La Feclaz... Finally, if you are a wine lover, the vineyards of Chignin and Apremont will be an essential stop to taste Savoy white wine.
Our campsite is very easily accessible by public transport because it is connected directly to the Chambéry - Challes-les-Eaux train station by bus line C which stops a 5-minute walk from the campsite.
Family's Camping le Savoy is the closest campsite to Chambéry, we have a wide range of rentals, but also locations. If you want to book at the best price, you must book as early as December during pre-sales, the prices are very attractive.
